Urban Pole Walking Program

An 8-week Urban Poling program, led by trained Rehabilitation Counsellors, assessed participants’ happiness, energy, and anxiety levels using the Mood Walks questionnaire before and after weekly sessions. The study explored whether supervised Urban Poling improves happiness, boosts energy, reduces anxiety, and alleviates concerns about falling. Results showed increased happiness and energy and reduced anxiety after each one-hour session.
